So What Is HairCon?
Now in its third year, HairCon delivers an existing mix of brands, stage shows, panel discussions, live podcasts, education and inspiration. Set in an old warehouse used as a music venue, the atmosphere is electric and hairdressers and barbers are there for the party.
Sunday was all about the stylists, and Monday had a more student vibe, with many of our training academies and colleges taking the opportunity to bring their students to enjoy the show, too.
The HAIR – Event Highlights
There was so much to see across the exhibition floor, from exciting new product launches and live demonstrations to plenty of familiar faces. Janet even spotted our mannequins featured on several stands throughout the event.
Gwyn was the mannequin of choice, including for the education school, Talnova Hair, while Lana was showcased by Limits Without Limitations.
Copper Queen Education featured Erika, our 100% Human Hair Mannequin, on their stand. These were just a few of the many mannequins we spotted over the two days.
The Copper Queen, well known for its expert colour swatching, also demonstrated this technique using our Hair Swatch Kits throughout the event.

SHAIR! Underground
The team from How To Cut It transformed one of the stages on Sunday evening into a high-energy showcase, with 35 stylists battling it out in just 10 minutes to create inspiring looks for the crowd.
Teams from Concept Hair Learners, Sassoon and The Fellowship of Hair all rose to the challenge. They delivered creativity, skill and plenty of excitement. Check out the video to experience the atmosphere for yourself.

Main Stage Shows
The main stage hosted a packed schedule of inspiring shows across both days.
We caught performances including Charlie Le Mindu’s incredible hair couture creations, outfits made entirely from hair. The ASP Team, featuring Pivot Point devotee Sheree Gough, who drew inspiration from artists ranging from Monet to Banksy, and a moving presentation by Pivot Point user Darrel Starkey and his Wig-Tourship initiative.
Partnering with The Little Princess Trust, Darrel reminded the audience that wigs are about so much more than fashion. One of the event’s most touching moments came when Darrel. He fitted a wig for a young girl live on stage, demonstrating the life-changing impact wigs can have.
Events like HairCon are all about bringing the hair community together. And catching up with so many familiar and new faces is always one of our favourite parts.
Industry icons and talented professionals attended the event. They were joined by training academies, passionate educators, and an incredible network of hairdressers and barbers. Together, they celebrated the passion and creativity that make our industry so special.
HairCon really is one of the hair events of the year. We cannot wait for HairCon 2027.
